Taherkhani: Free Services and Prioritizing Patients Were Our Approach During Difficult Days

Ahmad Taherkhani, CEO of Homka, stated that even under restrictive conditions, efforts were made to ensure patients remained prioritized and continued to receive services. He emphasized that if businesses can operate uninterruptedly and with minimal costs during crises, they can help rebuild lost social capital.

According to the Tehran Electronic Commerce Association’s public relations, Ahmad Taherkhani highlighted the company’s performance during recent critical days, emphasizing the importance of social responsibility for businesses. He said, “Our business operates in health services at home and on-site testing, and we tried to minimize disruptions as much as possible. Although laboratory services in Tehran were unfortunately limited due to the situation, we worked to prioritize patients with urgent needs.”

Taherkhani also noted the role of businesses in boosting national morale and social solidarity: “Businesses first had to plan for continuity. This alone demonstrated the vitality and ongoing presence of economic activity in society and significantly contributed to strengthening national spirit. Additionally, a unified voice emerged from businesses condemning aggression and emphasizing territorial integrity and national unity, reflecting true national solidarity.”

Referring to Homka’s supportive measures, he said, “We specifically provided some services free of charge and at minimal costs to make healthcare accessible to all social groups.”

He concluded, “At a time when protecting lives and property seems everyone’s top priority, if businesses place values such as uninterrupted service with minimal costs at the forefront, they can help restore lost social capital. When the crisis passes, society will not forget these moments and actions.”
