Launch of “Nooshdaroo” to Protect Users Against Cyberfraud

Date: April 22, 2025

The “Nooshdaroo” website was launched by prominent figures in Iran’s technology sector to enhance digital literacy and combat online fraud, empowering users against cyber threats.

According to the Public Relations of the Tehran Electronic Commerce Association, the “Nooshdaroo” website and media platform aims to raise public awareness about digital security, various types of scams, online crimes, privacy protection, and personal data safety. Officially launched on April 21, 2025, at nooshdaroo.ir, this initiative marks a significant step toward educating users and increasing their resilience in the face of growing cyber threats.

“Nooshdaroo” was founded with the collaboration of the Tehran Electronic Commerce Association and notable tech leaders including Ali-Asghar Honarmand (founder of the Narenji website), Hesam Mirarmandehi (founder of Divar and Hezardastan), and Ashkan Mirarmandehi (CEO of Divar). By offering practical educational content, the project seeks to boost the digital literacy of Iranian users and safeguard them against the increasing risks in cyberspace.

The name “Nooshdaroo” humorously reflects the reality that there is no magical solution to digital security challenges; only raising user awareness can effectively protect against cyber dangers.

Educational content on “Nooshdaroo” is categorized into diverse topics such as news and analysis, security fundamentals, privacy, types of fraud, smartphone security, online buying and selling, second-hand transactions, tools and plugins, and legal guides. This broad range ensures coverage of the varied needs users face in the digital environment.

Given the sharp rise in internet fraud and cybercrimes in recent years, the establishment of such a platform plays a crucial role in reducing the vulnerability of Iranian users. Besides its main website, “Nooshdaroo” maintains an active presence on social media platforms including Instagram, Telegram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and X (formerly Twitter) to broaden access to educational content for a wide audience.

The founders invite all internet users to benefit from “Nooshdaroo’s” educational resources and to share them with others, aiming to elevate the general level of awareness regarding digital security.
